AWI/TIG stick

The awi stick is a metal stick that is used as a filler material during welding.

The welding rod is the collective name for the welding rods used for flame and AWI welding, which are usually supplied in lengths of 1000 mm. In general, we do not impose special requirements on the rods used for AWI welding, they must be chosen based on the required alloying content of the weld metal. The welding rods used for flame welding are required to produce a seam of adequate quality (chemical composition and mechanical properties) after welding performed in the non-inert atmosphere of flame welding.

Alloys recommended for flame welding of unalloyed and low-alloyed steels are also suitable for AWI welding.
